  • Read, Listen and Practice: Getting Started with Libeduverse

Learning can begin with one page and one good conversation. Libeduverse brings Grade 1 English and Mathematics books together with page narration, extra practice and short games, so a learner can explore in more than one way.

Whether you are a parent, caregiver or teacher, start small. Choose a page, look at it together and let the learner tell you what they notice.

    Start with a book

Open the reader and choose English or Mathematics. The library includes the complete 176-page English book and 85-page Mathematics book. Use the contents or page controls to find a place to begin.

Look at pictures and headings together. Ask, “What do you think this page is about?” Give the learner time to answer in their own words.

    Listen, pause and talk

Choose Listen, then Play. Each of the 261 pages has a synthetic voice recording. Slow it down, pause to talk or repeat the page.

For English, invite the learner to point to a word or picture. For Mathematics, pause at a counting example and try it with pencils or bottle tops. Your questions help connect the page to everyday experience.

    Try a little practice

The extra practice area includes 12 short lessons with 48 questions. Practice offers hints and explanations. Quiz mode shows its review at the end, so you can discuss what went well and what to revisit.

These are supplementary activities, not official examinations. A score is only one part of understanding what a child is learning.

    Make room for play

Try Letter explorers or Counting basket. Let the learner explain an answer. If it is wrong, look at the explanation together and have another go. Celebrate effort and curiosity as well as correct answers.

    Begin with one page today

Choose a picture to describe, a new word to read or objects to count. A short, thoughtful session gives you something to return to next time.
